You can't put a fixed-piston caliper like the front Brembos on a live rear axle without converting it to full-floating. That's why they use a slider, aside from the fact that the sliders work just fine in this application. You'll never fade your rear brakes. Or rather, by the time you're at a level where you can, you'll have gone to a different caliper just for pad compound choices.
