My 2012 gt premium lost the clutch in the first 300 miles. Before it went it was heavy like you explained. They replaced it with a completely different clutch (not just another new one but different part numbers) and it was very light after that. Worked much better as well. My dealership (take with a grain of salt) said ford was changing manufacturers due to the failures that kept popping up and that I received one of the new ones. It's very possible you have two different clutches if the dealership's information was correct.
