I forgot to mention that with drag radials you match the air pressure with the wheel size. A 15" wheel runs 15 lbs. of air, 16" runs 16 lbs. and so on.

My best times with drag radial tires was when I launched at 4,000 rpm's. I actually lifted the left front wheel off the ground in 1st and 2nd gear.
