I test drove a 2013 Mustang GT no trac pac option with 3.31 rear end and it was a little bit jaring ride.
The 2012 Mustang GT with trac pac had those 3.73 rear end. A litle stiff riding not bad but it was new but those 3.73 gears felt so good. Just don't really care for stiff rides anymore coming from a 1988 Mustang GT Fox which are the worst.
I you want a comfortable ride and a lot of fun, the 2011+ V6 vert is the ticket. You can drive them 600-700 miles a day with no "pain." A very nice ride in the city with the stock suspension. NOT set up for racing/tight handling....but excellent comfort when cruising
