I cut these 60' times on stock Pirelli 235 x 18 factory tires.

1. 1.926
2. 2.399
3. 2.000
4. 1.945

Yes, the lower control arms help out a bit, but the line lock has allowed me to heat up the tires. Even thought the unwritten rule is to take street tires around the water and just clean off the tires a bit, I do it different. My feeling is just that if you put some heat, no matter what type of tires, heat helps.

I also feel strongly that launching in advance sport mode (hit the traction control button twice fast) also helped out with the 60' times.

Heating a street tire will cause it to become slimy, not sticky. Its at operating temperature simply on the drive there.
