There should be a sticky on rebuilding 3.8Ls that will give you all the interchange info.

Basically, almost everything interchanges, but you should chuck your engine and go with a 2001+ shortblock or longblock.

It's sturdier, you don't have to worry about head gaskets, and it makes almost oas much power as the t-bird SC engine while being naturally aspirated.

Morana makes some great engines, but in the interests of fairness, you should look at rpm-mustangs.com , and supersixmotorsports.com as well.
