First Track Day - 1998 Mustang Supercharged

Thought I would post some vids of my first time at the track this year on the new setup..

Car is a 98gt with a mildly built shortblock - Forged Mahle Pistons, Boss Coyote Rods, stock steel crank and PI Heads and cams
Vortech V3 blower making about 12lbs of boost and 420rwhp.

Yeah, you know I like track footage! I cant wait to get mine back out there. Nice passes, glad to see everything is holding together well.


1998 GT
Rebuild in the works. New crank, 2013 Boss rods, srp .020 over flat top pistons with valve reliefs, 12:1 compression, ported pi heads, comp xe278ah cams.

Yeah looking forward to seeing what your new setup will do. I need to change my signature on this site now from quest for 12's to quest for mid 11's lol.

Ah cool. Can you tell me the wheel diminisons, backspacing n offset and will they clear quad shocks? I'm on the market for wheels/tires for the track for my 95.

Fronts are 15X4 and 5x4.5 / Offset is -19 / Backspacing is 1.75in

Rears are 15x8 and 5x4.5 / Offsett is +27 / Backspacing is 5.5in

Not sure if they will clear the quads but if I were you anyway just get rid of them. They are useless.
