Exhaust HELP

Ive been looking at making my exhaust louder on my 2003 mustang gt and I want a really loud but not deafening sound. I currently have a flowmaster cat-back with the quieter verisons of the supper 44s and it is kinda loud but not enough. Will switching my current mufflers out for flowmaster super 10s make the exhaust sound a lot louder? if not what are other cheap options?

-Thanks for the help

Do you have the stock midpipe?

Super 10s are louder than the 2 chamber Flowmasters. I'm not sure it will "a lot" louder...that is pretty subjective.

If you like the tone or whatever but just wanna crank up the volume a little louder, get an aftermarket midpipe. As long as you stay with an H configuration pipe it will sound exactly the same as it does now, just louder.

Your options are catted or not ("off-road"). An aftermarket catted pipe will still be louder than stock due to having two less cats. O/R will be a little louder than that. And as an added benefit vs just swapping mufflers you'll pick up a few hp. Not a bunch, like about 10 on a good day, but you will definitely notice the engine breathes better and makes a bit more power once you rev it past about 4K.
