My car has cams on it how do I know which kind ?

I purchased my 1997 mustang GT 4.6 L about 3 months it has performance cams on it not the original camshaft the previous owner bought the car from a auction and had no info on the car when I purchased it from him I hear the cams but I don't know much about removing the camshaft they're no numbers or certain things near it was curious to know what type of cams could it be ?
Also I'm planning on changing the fuel filter Monday because the car sporadically holds itself back once in a blue moon while driving as if I'm giving it gas but it doesn't move than Launches like a bat out of hell I previously cleaned the MAF sensor with no prevail , I also replaced the temp sensors , it's nothing serious just bothered me that it does that randomly

You will have to pull the cam covers off and look for the part number on the camshafts themselves. Do you have any way to monitor fuel pressure? Put a gauge on the fuel rail and tape it to the windshield so you can see what fuel pressure does while the car is holding back. You could have a fuel pump on its way out.

Anyone recognize who's cai kit that is and whether it requires a tune? That looks like a pretty seriously oversized maf. Stock tb and plenum but if someone flashed that back to stock and then auction sold it that might explain some things.

Looks like half a cheap cold air intake. The symptoms sound like a bad maf sensor. Unplug the maf and see how the car drives.

Also, the ccrm isnít supposed to be inside the engine bay like that.
