2001 GT - 4R70 Swap

I have almost everything I need for my auto swap. I do have a question on the shifter that hopefully you all can answer. Where does this cable go and hook up to? This is on a 1999 shifter going in my 2001.

Thatís the shift interlock cable that goes to the column. That makes it so you have to press the brake to shift gears. You should be able to remove it.

Rebuild in the works. New crank, 2013 Boss rods, srp .020 over flat top pistons with valve reliefs, 12:1 compression, ported pi heads, comp xe278ah cams.

Cool. Seems to be purely mechanical in which case I will most likely remove since I'm not swapping pedal assemblies most likely.
