98 headlight assembly options

Just looking for a new pair of headlights for my 98. I have a 1 piece set right now. I bought the Raxiom chrome projector assemblies a few years ago and they are absolute junk. Ever since the first day I installed them they didnt fit. I finally had enough and brought the car to a body shop to have them to fit better and they couldn't get it either. The hood is a pain to latch now as well and the black gasket is peeling off. The headlight assemblies are barely attached to the car anymore since the tabs are now broke and in order to latch my hood I have to move them around quite a bit.

I'd like to just go back to a 2 piece set, but not sure what set or honestly where to buy. I've looked at American Muscle and LMR and like the cobra style chrome 2 peice set for just over $100, but the reviews are a little mixed. Dont want to spend a ton of money. Looking for some suggestions and what is worth getting. Would like something that has a nice fit and lasts for some years. Any help is appreciated. Pics are also welcome.

Thanks,
Ryan

I have had great luck with a seller/manufacturer named SPPC, you can find them on Amazon. Bought sets for 3 different vehicles (my 01 Mustang included) and fitment/quality is good. As with any aftermarket housings, be sure to run some clear silicone at the seam where the lens mates up to the housing.
