i just finshed my intercooler and it idles a little rough until it warms up a little,

is this normal? i called the guy that tuned my car and he said it would hesitate a little because the meter is farther away from the throttle body now.

If I were you I would take it back to a tuner and have it retuned. Anytime you change something in your setup(boosted) you should retune the car to get the most accurate setup.

Make sure all your clamps are tight and you have no boost/vacuum leaks. Sounds like the fuel trims are off a little bit and he needs to tune for it. Is this a blow through setup now? If so, you can try rotating the MAF around a little bit. Also, make sure you put the screen in front of the MAF But when installing an intercooler, a re-tune is required.
