Is 295 too wide.....?
Hey folks,
Tire questions here. Wondering if anyone has experience going as wide as 295 and could share with me?
First, I am going to be putting (more than likely) 295/35/18 Kumhos on 18x9.5 2003 Cobra R's. These will be going on the rear of my 2003 GT with 275/35/18s up front. So, questions are, will 295 exceed the safe limits of 9.5" wide rim? Also, will I experience any rubbing with the car lowered about 3/4" in back?
Lastly, how bad am I going to throw off the speedometer/odometer with the 295/35/18s on back? I looked for 295/30/18s but alas no luck I didn't want any of the brands that actually make that size.

295s should fit the 9.5"s with no problems.
But 275s in front might rub on the swaybar a bit.

i've got 265/35/18s on the front and rear with no rubbing with a 1 1/2" drop...but im not sure about 275s id stick with 255 in the front...my 265s throw dirt up on the side of my car.
