Intake- K&N, BBk, MAC
Exhaust- Magnaflow.
Gears- 4.10 Ford MOtorsports. www.gefracing.com

There are many intakes out there, BBK and MAC are the shiny chrome ones that go into the fenderwall, the K&N FIPK is the one that exposes the air filter and is placed right under the hood. Both give pretty good results.

Exhaust, now you can choose many differen't brands, lots of people here have magnaflows and lots of flowmasters. Flows are pretty popular, they sound pretty good, but that have bad drone, you may like it you may not like it. They are also not good at all for supercahrged or high powered engines. Magnaflows are strait through mufflers, they sound very nice and are the perfect muffler for supercharged engines and such. It depends on what kind of sound you want, flows give you that raspy growly sound while magnaflows give you that smooth throaty sound. I personaly run magnaflows and love em.

Gears, they are the best bang for the buck! 4.10 gears are perfect, you will love em! Get Ford gears, they are the best. Gef racing sells them for 139.99 i believe which is the best price i've seen. Gears though, unless you are a highly trained mechanic, you wont be able to put in. They take very special tools and is about a 8 hour job. Most shops charge anywhere from 250- 600 dollars. I dont really know, i had a mechanic friend of my dads come over to my dads house and we installed them. Let me tell you, its pretty hard.. Getting it all out is easy, getting it together and setting the backlash and pinion depth is the hard part.

I hope this helps..

Marc,

lol my friends got a Rsx Type- S too! Thats pretty tite, you will be able to just spank him. Type-S's are pretty quick compared to other imports, hondas, integras, and stuff like that but to your stang you will spank him.

Your car will still idle the same with 4.10 gears. If you drive on the highway a lot you might see a little bit of a drop, but if you drive in the city or around town you will see an increase in gas mileage. I dont really drive on the freeway, i saw an increase of a couple miles per gallon.

Your car with a good driver stock will do the quarter mile in high 13s. With those mods, if you could hook up you could see prolly like low low 13s. THe problem is when you get the 4.10 gears you will have some traction problems because of the new power. YOu will need sone suspension mods.

Acordng to AFM, its at 5000 rpms.

I don't think you should mod your car till you can talk like a normal human being, you are not a home slice.

those #'s look like there coming from the new cobra.... with a 390 horse supercharged engine no wonder your getting 22 horsepower gains. i dont see getting that kind of gain on any car without a power adder or having a new cobra, with a CAI anywho.

it includes a pro-m mass air as well, thats where the power gains come mostly from.
