Bassani VS SLP Xpipe!!

I have a 02 mustang GT w/ a Borla Catback exhaust system. Im going w/ a catted x pipe and have seen a couple i like. I like the name and sound of Bassani. The sound of the SLP is a little less of what i want, but the $ is so different!!

also, this is the Bassani system, are the deletes for the cats really worth it?

i bought the catted bassani x pipe to go with my 40 flows and absolutely love the sound! at first i knew i wanted a mean deep soundin exhaust and knew that most x pipes give more of a raspy popping sound but after listening to numerous videos of stangs with the bassani x i fell in love and ended up goin with it and i have no regrets at all! the combo of the cats and the chambered flows eliminate any popping noise and creates a great deep sounding exhaust that def lets people know ur comin...i just recently gutted the hi-flow cats and i love it even more, it got a lot louder but still has no rasp or popping...cant go wrong with bassani!

i bought mine from for $400 shipped, just dont waste ur money on the SS, its like an extra $150...i got the aluminum (BX), it def wont last as long as the stainless but i know it will last until i run that engine to the ground and i only have 66k on my stang

aluminum usually last 15 years. stainless 20... unless you live where theres salt and crap like that.

The 01 that i just baught came with bassani catted x and magnaflow catback. it was quiet because it has some baffles at the tips.. im currently running bassani catted x with straight pipes + the baffles at the tips and alot of people im sure would like this sound. to quiet for me.. waiting for o/r h to come in
