98 mustang stalled but works again
My mustang stalled coming out of a tollboth.Had to get a wrecker ,When it got home it started up like thier was noproblem.Whats wrong?
Check the battery, fuel pressure and all the usual suspects.
If the battery went dead or too low, you may need an alternator or new battery.
If the battery was still hot and the motor just spun freely without cranking, check fuel pressure. Replace the fuel filter, if its old, regardless.
You might also have a short in the starting circuit, or a starter solenoid (or starter) going bad. They will often start to fail when hot, but still work when cold.
Thanks so much I will do that.I ran it yesterday and it seems to be running fine. But Iam a little worried about driving it to far.
