A used Centri is going to be easier to install on your car like an old Vortec, etc. If you want a roots style or twin screw, it would be better to swap out your engine with a PI motor instead of doing the full PI swap due to an increase in compression ratio with the PI swap. This is because there were few if any roots blowers and/or twin screw kits out for the 96-98 Mustang and much more out there for the PI cars 99-04.

8 # of boost is decent and I would recommend intercooling so you can get as much power out of it as possible and still have a safe ride in the summer months.

Decide on a horse power goal and which type of blower you want. Then do your research.

I definetly want to do an intercooled twin screw, specifically procharger. BUT my limited funds do not allow me to do so, unfortunately. However I do plan to put it on a new manifold and install some headerswill this help with compression any?

Does Procharger make a twin screw? I thought they only made Centri blowers.

The compression ratio only bumps up from the PI swap due to the camber size difference if I remember right, so changing intakes won't affect it. The issue will be finding a twin screw or roots style which will bolt to your non pi heads.

I think Ford Motorsport made an Eaton M90 kit for the 96-98 Non PI GTs, but it was not intercooled.

The procharger was self contained so it wasnt a twin screw but it was somewhat affordable. Whats the best way to fix the compression problem with out doing a PI swap??...

There won't be a compression increase unless you do the PI swap.
