Wheel color for a True Blue '03 GT ?

Hiya guys,

What wheel color do you think will look better on my true blue stang? am hopefully getting 18x10 & 18x9 fr500 wheel replicas (im thinking anthracite).

I currently have anthracite 17" bullitts which i love but wanna go larger 'n wider tires.

pics attached

thx

I think silver or chrome FR500's would be the way to go on a TB car. The black chrome FR500's are my favorite wheel ever on a Mustang, but for some reason, I think a lighter color would look better on a TB car.

I like flat black on them. This is personal opinion, buy what you want and can afford and tell everyone else to kiss off.

A friend of mine had those Fr500's on his sonic blue GT and it looked sweet. i think they'll look good on yours too.

Just throwing more options out there... on your factory blue I think chrome would look killer. I'm not one for chrome myself as I have the DD black bullitts on my 96GT BUT I think in that wider size they would look great. Your choice is solid as well but I thought i'd throw another idea into the ring.

I'd say go with hypercoated FR500's. It will create a nice 'popping' color contrast with the true blue over the anthracite color.

Another thing. When you get those you definitely need to lower your car to give it the full look.

that will most likely be my decision ty

about lowering, when i first got the car it was lowered but i installed the original springs because it is MUCH more comfortable when driving in our uneven roads with all the mountain-high speedbumps and other $hit,, so i sacraficed the looks for the sake of my (and in fact my stang's) comfortness.

Love the stance on your car, I battled with this question a bit myself. My car is black and I am not a real big chrome guy but I love the FR's so I ended up going with Chrome, the only reason is I ran into a guy who has a yellow mach1 he had black FR's and he said you really couldnt see that they were FR's he traded them for the Silver and happier for it.
