$4,500 for a built longblock 4v with ported and polished heads? that's not bad at all. if you consider the aluminator longblock is over $6,000 and is essentially the same exact thing with an aluminum block and unported heads. you could probably walk out of there with it for $4,000 cash too, or maybe even less.

The price is definitely fair for a Studded Cobra Block BUT what are your plans for the Top end? Put an Eaton on? Normally aspirated with a 99-01 Intake setup? Add a supercharger to the 99-01 induction? The oil pan isn't an issue, I could sell you one with pickup for $50! I haven't heard of that engine builder?
And why put Scat Rods in then add top of the line Arp 2000 bolts? Their duty cycle would REALLY be taxed at that 1000HP level with em, Billet I-Beam Olivers or Manleys would have been more logical! And honestly there's better choices than Keith Black Pistons BUT nonetheless a GOOD deal although the OP shouldn't be touting it as 1000RW ready!! I'd say a solid 750-800!
If it had Thermal coated CP's with the I-Beams I'd say RUN to get it, haha!
And as stated it looks like your gonna need all acessories since you don't have a Cobra car, that could get Expensive!

That was a great article to read but to me it still just seems so impractical to drop that much work and money in a 2v. When you consider after all the parts, labor, and tuning they did in that car you might as well drop that cash into a 4v terminator conversion and you can pretty much just start with 500 as your base hp and then work way past that 647 if you want.

03-04 Cobra Motor For Sale

I have a brand new custom built 03/04 cobra motor for sale for $5,000. This motor can handle up to 800hp as is. For $6,000 I will throw in a Paxton Novi 1000 supercharger with the 01 cobra intake manifold in replace for the roots blower mount. Email mrs or answer this post for specs and details on the motor. It is currently at my mechanics shop in Central New Jersey.
