How does a true duel midpipe sound?

I'm wondering what a true duel not h or x actual duel for a 01 gt with flowmasters...I'm thinking of doing that to get a deep rumble...does it effect anything on the car...does it damage anything and will it make poor gas milage and can anyone post vids

True Duals will always cost you torque and usually horsepower as well.

I'm more of a sound guy then power...so if that's what it does not really that concerned...I'm trying to find out how it sounds...any one have vids

I really dont think it will sound any different then and H pipe, Have you ever seen an H pipe??????? It just has a cross over pipe from one side to the other to help scavage the exhuast.


What the hell do you mean, more of a sound guy????? You drive a Mustang, you dont want that Camaro to pull up beside you and smoke you do ya, I guess when he does you can at least say you car sounds better..

Just busting ya, go buy you an H pipe and be done with it.

well on my exhaust now i had the x pipe custom put in so the cats were cut out so it would be cheeper just to cut the x out and put the straight pipes.

Just my opinion, by I wouldn't even mess with the o/r x you have now. There probably won't be that much of a difference in sound. Although if you don't like the rasp, get a H pipe on.

Yea thats what you should do then, the cheap, loudest, lower power exhaust.

I think enough guys have answered with (Get an H Pipe).
