Trailer towing question

so i'm well aware that the mustang is not the optimal trailer towing vehicle however, is there anyone out there that's done this and how did it go? the hitches available for the mustangs are class 1 which afford a max 2000lb tow weight and i don't intend to even get that high...the trailer i'm looking at is a 4'x8' trailer for just running a few things around if and when i need to....what are your thoughts

get another vehicle isn't an option since the jeep cherokee i had that could haul crap and tow a trailer threw up its tranny and is why i bought the mustang in the first place

this is the trailer i'm looking at

Before my Mustang was modded and (kinda) fast, it was my DD car, and I used to tow my race quad/dirt bikes with it on a small trailer.
The hitch I had was Hidden Hitch or something. It was pretty easy to install and wasn't super obvious if you took the receiver off.
As far as towing, the car had no issue pulling that little trailer. But my trailer was tiny. I could load a quad on it and still move the trailer around by hand, like a big cart. It was pretty light.

I had a hitch installed on my new 2011 GT/CS to tow my motorcycle trailer and show bike.

I ordered it thru U-Hall and was no problem installing and you can hardly see it under there.

I have an automatic transmission and have had NO problems at all.

Go for it!
