90 mustang gt couple of questions

This is my first post but here goes. I have a 90 mustang gt with the ho motor, automatic trans, and its a convertable. My questions are these. 1st the coil that mounts on the drivers fender supposed to wiggle around inside of that metal bracket looking thing that has 4 little screws holding it on to the fender? I mean i can grab the coil and it wiggles up and down inside the square looking thing. Or is it supposed to be 100% tight? I can grab the top of the plug wire that plugs onto the coil and move and shake it up and down and a little side to side. i mean the actual coil? 2cnd when i slow down to turn on a side street and I go to punch it, the car will try to bog down, and choke up and not want to run. I baby the pedal and then i can get into it. I hope these make since to someone.. Thanks alot.
