Unhappy Hello and i need some suggestions

Hello my fellow mustang owners, I am new to this forum and are the proud owner of a 1996 mustang gt. I should have pictures up soon but to get to the real problem. I recently installed a oil pump, and when i go to crank the car it will just crank, have the low oil light on. Now i knew that i needed to prime it, and that it wouldnt start up on the spot, so i kept watching the gauges. Now i get oil pressure and when i stop turning the crank it stays and then drops completely. I was wondering what it could be, if anyone had the same problem that their experience is much appreciated. Thank you to all im sure i will also provide some experiences and suggestions to others as well.

To all my fellow mustang owners, ignore this simple thread, i fixed the problem, appearantly i had 2 fuses go out which made sense as to y the car didnt start up. one fuse was a cigarette lighter which didnt let me read the codes on the dtc and the other was the 20 amp fuse that went to the eec. i replaced both of them and voula she cranked up and breathed. sorry about that ppl, i feel noobish i replace the oil pump and the simplest thing ate my mind for half a day.
