1997 Mustang knocking and squeaking issues

Hi all, i change the front shocks on my 1997 mustang gt and about two days later every time i go over a bump i am getting this knocking as if the engine mount is gone but it is not constant it only happen when i go over bumps also everytime i turn my wheel iven the slightest i get this loud squeaking. any ideas what might be causing this and is this something i can do myself. i am pretty handy with tools.

did you replace the strut bushings?

You probably have worn bushings or a bad ball joint in the front end. And if those are bad, you probably have worn bushings in the rear, too.

I have the same problem without the knocking noise. I just get a ton of squeak when I turn or go over a bump. It's all coming from the front end and I replaced the ball joints 2 weeks ago when I put the new springs in. Would you say bushings?

Black with saddle 1996 Mustang GT convertible. Manual. NPI, 2v 4.6L. Full bolt-ons.

How easy is it to remove these bushings and any ideas where i can get OEM replacements

Check the nuts on the top of the struts. I had a similar issue when I did my shocks. Come to find out I forgot to tighten the strut nuts properly, lol.
