Powdercoated some s/c parts (pics)

I recently installed an AFM powerpipe.
It was a total pain in my ass to install. I like to think I'm good at puzzles, I can figure out that round pegs go in round holes and square ones don't, but this thing was just a nightmare to fit in with all my bypass valves and the aftercooler.
The chromed finish was trashed after test fitting it, so it got shipped along with my discharge tube to RG Powdercoating and came back much better looking than it was when it started.
The powdercoating didn't scratch a bit on the final install.

I had to have a tube for my bypass valve welded on the pipe.
I had to modify my Lightning 90mm MAF housing to work with the pipe and actually fit in the fenderwell.
I had to cut and lengthen the temp sensor and MAF wiring so the connectors would reach.

Throttle response is improved.
I can't watch the boost guage and do WOT pulls on back roads without crashing, so I had my gf watch the guage. I got up to 10lbs boost, and I was at 9 before...

I hated the install and all the asspain it took to get the AFM pipe to fit, but in the long run, I'm happy with how it performs. And it looks better than hideous plastic intake tube and dryer hose.

Looks good, but I don't think anything else will fit under that hood......

It's stupid... Like I said, I'll never do a centri again. What a clusterfuck to work on.
That's why I'm looking at things to remove from under there.
