Help- 2000 Mustang GT Triple Black 26k miles

I have a perfect 2000 Mustang GT. Triple Black 5-speed 26,000 original miles Black Leather 4.6 Custom gauges. Steeda trim. MoMo shiftier. It was put into storage 3 years ago. The DOT junked the title instead of putting it in storage. They say they can not reverse the junk status in Iowa. Therefore I can not tittle it for street use. They suggest that I use it as a track car or part it out. It is sad to think of parting out this fantastic car. Only flaws on car I can find is a ding under passenger door size of a nickle, and a chip in windshield smaller than a dime on lower passenger side. Does anyone have any ideas? I would rather sell it than cut it up. It has been garaged and covered since new. How can I cut it up? Any ideas?

Don't chop up your car because somebody else is incompetent and can't do their job; this is common with state government offices. I don't live in Iowa so I don't know what specific steps you need to take; but you need to find somebody at that dmv with at least 4 functioning brain cells who can help. I doubt they can't undo their mistake as you were told, it's more like the person you dealt with is lazy and didn't want to. Go a little higher up the dmv food chain, eventually you will find somebody who is capable and willing to help.

And if all else fails....higher a very good lawyer!!! There is no way that they can "junk" that car... I don't understand why a vehicle inspection by the DMV themselves would not reverse the process?!
