1995 GT exhaust question
My car is stock, 95 mustang gt 5.0 5 speed and i have stock headers, stock pipe, running glass packs at the moment. I'm fixing to have flowmasters put on it, but for the short time being I want to run straight pipes. I still have the stock cats on and I'm not removing those. Can someone tell me the ups and downs of removing the mufflers for a short period of time. Is it going to hurt my engine since there is no back pressure, etc.. It will only be for a few days or so. So can someone help me out here. Thanks!
You can run straight pipes, it won't hurt anything. Be loud as hell though.
FYI, you're in the wrong section though. Next time, try posting here 94-95 Tech Forum | AllFordMustangs.com (look first for the 5.0 section, it's buried in there) to get better quality and quantity of answers and keep people here from bitching. And oh yeah, uh, welcome to AFM; the premier Mustang enthusiast forum:bigthumbsup
Alright. Thanks for quick reply. And thanks for info on where to post, new to site didn't know.
