What are your plans with the car? If I were you gears and a tune would be my first mod to wake the car up. Your basic bolt ons would be a throttle body, plenum and a cold air intake pulleys ect. These bolt ons will add some HP not a lot. As for exhaust there are a number a ways you can go, catted or off road X pipe or H pipe and a number of cat back systems to choose from its all up to you which one you like. If you do headers go long tubes shorty headers are not worth it. There are a number of things you can do to the car have fun modding it

Congrats on the new addition!!

Last Saturday I also sold my 2007 V6 and bought a 2001 Bullitt

Tuning will always be one of the best things you can do since its cheap as far as power per dollar and will be the base for anything you really want to do. I know i did not like how all the power was at the top of the RPM band since the V6 has plenty of torque down low so a tuner will give you a noticeable amount of lower end power if you so choose

2007 V6 TORCH RED (will be missed)
2001 Bullitt - #1001 (Good riddance)
2004 Mach 1
