Do you have a Sunburst Gold metallic Mustang. If so post up some pics

I've owned my Gold Stang since I ordered it (NCO) back in 2000. I've only seen (1) other Sunburst Gold Metallic 2000 GT in person since then and maybe (8-10) 6 cylinder Sunburst Gold Metallic Stangs since also. I live in Vermont, but used to live 15 minutes north of Boston so I haven't been in the boonies my whole life. My Stang spent it's first 7 years down in the city. I know it's a rare color. Only 5171 Stangs were produced in Sunburst Gold Metallic (BP) in 2000 and most were 6 cylinders. They discontinued the color in the spring of 2000 and replaced it with the "spring edition yellow" that year. I've noticed that there are hardly ANY at any events that I go to or have even seen on videos of events nation wide. I swear to you that I would have been the ONLY Sunburst Gold Metallic Mustang at the last few Mustang weeks at Myrtle Beach if I'd gone to any of them. I've carefully watched all videos of these events.
I'm just curious if anyone else near me also has a gold Stang. I'd like to try to get a Stang club started up here but there just doesn't seem to be much love for muscle cars up here in the woods and mountains of Vermont . It stinks because there are so many beautiful scenic roads to travel. I'd love nothing more than to have 10-20 Stangs cruising the back roads and stopping in at little mom and pops eateries along the way. Here are a few pics of my baby over the years

P.S the 1969 MACH1 was my first Mustang

I agree, I haven' seen any sunburst gold metallic Mustangs up here at all. Mine's black. Most folks up here store their Mustangs for the winter, and remove them in the spring. Their used to be a Mustang Club in Burlington a few years ago.

right now I would be open to just an all makes of American muscle car club. Not even strictly Mustang. I have a friend who has a nice Hemi Charger that might want to start up a club. I'll have to ask. Burlington is only 30 or so minutes from me so that's not bad at all. I'll be up in Burlington on the waterfront for the Vermont BrewFest in July can't wait

I just saw an Aztec Gold 98 GT on the highway here...first one I've seen in a long time. I'm not too sure if I've seen your color in a New Edge either...I do like it a lot!!

What else have you done to it besides the hood, Mach 1 grill and Cobra bumper?

I just saw one the other day in Victorville, CA. Not as nice as yours though, it was just another unappreciated pos/dd Mustang GT.

Thanks for the compliments. As far as mods nothing internal engine wise. It does have a Diablosport tune. Bassani X-pipe with Quiet Thunder cats back. Bullit suspension upgrade. sequential tail lights and the smoked 2001 headlamps. I just removed my shocktower brace because it's a PIA when you need to do anything under the hood. Otherwise just internal aluminum cosmetics like pedals and door and temp control switches and knobs. Nothing overboard. Kept the head unit and switched out the stock speakers for Infinity Kappa's. I'd like to get black 2003 Cobra rims for it next.

Very nice car! I don't like these cars in gold normally but that thing is awesome! The cobra mirrors are a nice touch.
