I need some suggestions on headers to purchace for a 2004 mustang gt?

I would go mac ceramic they seem to have best clearence and they last forever.

i believe it up to your state if they have visual inspections and smog, if you have cats u should be ok.... not 100% sure

I have MAC long tubes on my 1999 gt. i have the entire MAC system the long tubes, prochamber ( no cats ), and there cat back. It sounds sweet! and turns heads!:hihi:

If i had the money i would buy Kooks or Hooker but i dont. ive heard (from people on this site) that the MAC's were really good and sounded great... so i got the MAC LT's now just gotta install them.

They can choose to do a visual, but usually dont on a car my age. They just plug in to scan for codes. If none come up you are golden. I could probably weld some covers up there anyway if I need to just to look like cats...

So does nobody like BBK I like mine and they have been on there for 6 years and on/off the car 4 times.

I ran BBk's on mine... i just prefer Hookers. Hookers are more of a b!tch to install though.

Longtubes are worth the money and the time IMO! I have bbk's on mine and love them.

Sold- 03 sonic blue GT-Every bolt on you could imagine, Cushman Stage 2 N/A cams, Innovate LM-1 Wideband, FRPP C-spings, Motive 3.90's Cobra fascia and hood, And the list goes on and on!

2013 GT premium deep impact blue - GT500 Quad Tip mufflers, Lethal Performance Off-road H-pipe, SCT 4 Tuner, Roush Fog lights and Grilles, GT500 Spoiler.
