Seems that the OP is doing a 4V build.... He may need a shoehorn and a little spit on the strut towers (and definitely a taller hood) but I think this one could get interesting.

F/I on your list for this one, Steve?

This is either getting a unique intake not available in USA ("good day mate..." I wonder how many knows this one???) or adapter plates for a 4.6 dohc intake to fit a 5.4 dohc so I can bolt-on a cobra supercharger kit.

I have contact with a gentleman who has several and is shipping them over insured and gaskets as a complete deal with throttle body for a GREAT price. Just havent decided yet if I want that setup or a whipple supercharger.

I know Jon but how cool would it be to pop the hood and see an engine that obviously doesnt belong and then to have a Aussie intake manifold in there too...

Obviously the supercharger is going to yield best power so thats going to most likely win. I didnt realize how cheap this build and swap would be or I would have probably done it instead of doing my 2v build. I already have had offers on the 2v engine though lol

I hear ya on the uniqueness...I am just power hungry because my bolt on GT is a joke...With the Aussie intake (and dependent on CR and cam choice) will most likely only yield 330-340 to the wheels...if the whipple is in the discussion than it's the obvious choice considering the forged internals...why forge it if you are only looking for 340whp you know...

I definitely appreciate the uniqueness factor.

I'll donate an engine block for you to build Jon. I made a post already with the instructions in PDF format and a different post on how to get the most power out of them N/A.

See jon just like that you could have a built forged motor, no excuses lol

Steve I printed that pdf off and put it in a nice binder but haven't got to taking the oil pan off. I might work on it tomorrow night though, still hoping the bottom end is good and it's just that loose timing chain.

Good deal buddy. Hopefully it is good. I would still pull some main caps off and make sure that you dont have any other issues.
