I might be getting a promotion at work with about a 8 dollar an hour increase in pay. If that happens my time on here will cut back alot and my toys will get built faster lol.
The car is coming along nicely! Wish I got an 8 dollar an hour raise...lol

Well guys I got my new promotion. I start that position in another week and currently in final negotiations for my pay rate. I do know that I am going to have to finish buying all the parts I want to change on this car so I can start saving money back and buy my new Coyote that I been wanting. In order for me to not have a $600 dollar a month payment I need to get about 10 grand saved back as my down payment.

As far as updates go on the car. I am finishing up the underside of the car this week with new brake hoses, calipers, and wheel bearings on the front. I am getting ready to buy the subframe connectors and get those installed as well as the front lowering springs. I am doing all the front first because I still need to find a 8.8 rear end for the car. Eibach front and rear sway bar kit is getting ordered soon as well. Every other day UPS arrives and says I wish my dad was able to do this for me like you are doing for your son. He has even stayed around a few more minutes to watch my son open the boxes and see the look of excitement on his face.

For those of you who want to do this your kids but are afraid to, I strongly encourage it. My oldest has had some discipline issues while living with his mother. When he comes to stay with me I remind him before we ever leave to come to my house that if he misbehaves then we wont be working on the car. It is an absolute privilege to do this project for him and I love every moment of it. (I told the wife to not ask about the total money spent as it is for my first son and the son my wife and I have together is 3 so we have awhile to recover before we start his project car). I need to find another roller chassis car for my 5.4 build. Im too pleased with my convertible beast I built so I want to leave it alone and get that 5.4 into a hardtop. Ill make sure I get some more photos for the progress along guys.
