To build or not to build?

Im getting close to getting extra money to spend and trying to find where to use it so...

02 Saleen 2v, Current setup is 466rwhp on a stock longblock and a KB @ 14.7psi with a stock longblock.
Im looking at $12,000-$14,000 to buy a forged longblock with ported heads, blower cams, complete fuel system, and 10% over crank pulley. That is also including labor to have all installed.
I will be looking at 580-600rwhp max with my current blower.
So in your opinion is it really worth the cost fpr an extra 130rwhp? Will it really make THAT much of a different in driving and performance?

I wouldn't. I don't see that as a good return on the investment.

I cant see spending that much on such a small gain. If you are going to spend that much, go get yourself a coyote motor and do a swap, then add a supercharger. Or find a wrecked GT500 and buy the drivetrain.

Its not about h.p its about us and our cars. If u just want power get forged bottom and put nitrous. But if u are looking for the next rung in the ladder then ya its worth it. Have u thought about selling the kb and going turbo. At this point the kb is just slowing u down. Maybe a coyote turbo swap or a forged motor with trickflow heads and turbo or a aluminator. With your budget i could put u in the 800s atleast
