Who has winter mods planned?

I have a few I want to do...probably won't get to them.

- MM quadrant / clutch cable
- Drag Radials/Slicks (this will happen before spring)
- Helmet (should happen but may not until the track makes me)
- DS Safety Loop (a must-have with my DRs or slicks)
- Finally install my MM Subframe Connectors (this will happen since it's free )

That is all for my list.

Anyone else?

Heated garage
Battery tender
Wheel casters
Security blanket

This won't happen. Hard finding a garage close that lets me access it when I want and have the room or be allowed to work on her. Heated garage was a joke.

We are planning on buying a house by late spring/early summer next year so I might finally have a garage. Been doing most of my maintenance in my apt complex parking lot. Major work has been in my parents garage. Heated or not I'll be happy with a one car garage to be honest.

Must be nice! What did you do this summer? BTW, I still am unsure of what Mustangs you have and whats done to them. Care to share?

Not too many people planning on mods. Might be a slow season on the forums...

Is it that time again already? 102 where I'm at today; winter's the last thing on my mind but I sure wish it would hurry up n' get here.

Nothing planned for the winter unless God forbid something breaks. That's always a convenient excuse to upgrade.

But I'll make a deal with ya Jon, if anything just to light a fire under my ass.... If next spring comes around and I'm still talking about MM sfc's in a box in the garage you can feel free to stop by and deliver a kick to my balls. And yes, we'll have a beer after the nausea subsides

^Deal dude. If I don't get my subframce connectors in this winter, I'll pony up the dough and have someone install them for me. At this rate, I should have paid the $150 or so to get them installed but my pops keeps telling me we will get to them (I need his help as I don't know how to weld yet and this will be a teaching project).

I'm in the same boat as socal2v. It's in the 105-115 range where I live. I have a 99 cobra tt, a 99 cobra n/a that I'm looking into supercharging, a 2000 gt bolt on car, brother has a terminator that we work on. That's about all. I have a 99 cobra without a engine that is up for sale

This winter I plan too:

- Change wheel bearings
- Drop the transmission again to change the TOB and inspect the clutch
- May do some rust repair, it has some rust forming in the back by the gas tank
- One of these days I would also like to paint my calipers black and silver but fear of paint chips is keeping me from doing it
- Then probably going to finish drywalling my garage

I did have rust on the lip in the rear wheel well so I sanded it down to metal and treated it with Por15 and then paint matched it. It turned out pretty good.
