The new Chevy with the 6.2L does 0-60 in the same time as our cars do stock....but I get what you're saying.
I'm just tired of running around in my loud, slow 2V when my family members and everyone else has 5.0s and 427W running mid-high 11s...I have too much into my car now, I'm stuck with it but most days (especially lately) I have regretted the amount of money I've put into this car...it's not much faster than it used to be, I just drive it better. I have no confidence when pulling up to someone on the street...most cars around here will rip me a new one.
I feel exactly the way you do. But a guy on a forum once told me something I'll never forget. No matter what you buy or how much money you spend, there'll always be somebody who's faster than you. So just enjoy what you've got.
I get jealous everytime I see a '14 GT 5.0...especially the Deep Impact Blue ones. But then I remember that my car is paid for and that dude has a $450 payment every month.
