I remember watching that episode when I was a little kid (one of my few odd memories from the early 1980's) where the Duke bros were welding the doors shut on the General Lee, basically the same as what was done for NASCAR stock car class vehicles (back when actual race cars were born on the same assembly line as their street counterparts).

Back then though I don't think they had to worry about anybody reaching in through their open window to snatch up the iPhone that was left charging in the car.

I remember one episode when Bo had a date and the girl went to up the door of the and she couldn't get it open. Bo was like, "no mam, they're welded shut."
