Gas gauge only thing that works

Just got a 97gt . Only gas gauge works. Took cluster out and one ribbon on the right plug was out of alignment, fix it and now i have cluster lights but still no other gauge works but fuel gauge. Speedo gear is broke so i know odometer wont work but is my cluster bad? No signs of any burn marks and i replaced the fuse

I'm normally a big DIY'er. If looking for advice here's mine. Have the cluster re-worked and repaired by a professional. I have had great luck with United Speedometer and Electric. Pay the flat rate and have it done right. The cost isn't really all that $$. It's easy. The guys that work with this on a daily basis (experience) have the tools and specialized test gear to do the job correctly.

Here's some more information just FYI.

My odometer goes on and off?
