You are correct SoCal , the tip of the quarter window glass is exactly where the pressure point is so i guess i was fortunate to at least not damage the window . I'm careful now to make sure ALL the windows are down .

I had one side kinda lagging as it goes up and down then one day POOF it didnt come up on the one side at all. I had to give it a little help to put it up, not impressing the onlookers that is 4sure.

Later found it to be one little nut and bolt had worked itself loose and fallen right where I could find it"right below the hole it fell from.... Put it back in and POOF worked like a charm now going on three seasons... That is Canadian for about a year and a half Cant hurt to look!!!!

I Have a question can you send your top down with a glass window or only plastic

Had the same problem in 99GT Convert, dont remember exactly how I fixed it but I remember it being the Drivers Side and I believe I snuck through the rear panel to replace the missing bolt.
