Coolant refill 2003 GT

I am draining / refilling my coolant system for the first time. What is the procedure for doing this. I am a newbie to the forum. If this topic can be found elsewhere please direct me there. Thanks.

put a drain pan under the lower radiator hose. remove the hose at the radiator and allow the coolant to run out. once its all out replace the hose and fill the radiator with a 50/50 mix of water and coolant. Start the car with the heater full blast to make sure air bubbles are flushed out of the heater core. Let the motor warm up and check the coolant level.
