comp cams Stage 1 and 3:73 gears questions

Hey guys I have a couple of questions? First off I got some 3:73 gears and like of corse the speedometer is way off. I have an SCT tuner but that does not fit the gear ration on a 1996 Mustang Gt. I was wanting to ask if anyone knows how to fix it. I also just bought some Comp cam stage 1 camshafts along with some pi heads. The camshaft bolt does not fit the comp cam camshafts. Anyone know were to get camshaft bolts. By camshaft bolts i refer to the bolt that connects the camshaft gear wheel to the camshaft. Thanks for your time.

to get the spedo working I think you need different speedometer gear in the tranny, you can get that from Ford or most speed shops that sell Ford Racing parts, try summit. And while calling summit ask about the cam bolts they can hook u up.......

to correct the speedometer you need to change the gear in the trans. It is fairly easy to do. you can get them on ebay for like $20 you just need to get the right tooth count.

+1 You need to change the gear in the trans. Here they are. Notice the different tooth count and ratio numbers.

+1 on speedo gear. I'm surprised the bolt doesn't fit for the cam gear. i would give comp cams a call and see what they say.
