1997 Mustang Flowmasters. 40 series or 50 series?

Im getting ready to convert my 97 mustang to duals and im wondering which flowmasters would sound best on it, the 40 series or the 50 series?

I would get super 44's, everyone seems to have the 40'series, on their stangs, not only that but flowmaster is used by every truck and suv out there, even I'm getting sick of hearing them. If I was rich I would buy some thing else.

I would go for the super 44's but I have a friend that has them on his 'stang and he got pulled over for them being to loud due to a new noice ordenance that they have passed.
