check engine light

i just put on an o/r x pipe and i hooked it up to my tunner to clear the the codes but it comes back on everytime i floor it or rev it up the check engine light comes on is this going to happen everytime

You need MIL eliminators. Some people get lucky, and codes wont pop up for weeks, some people don't, and codes pop up every 5 minutes. You can grab them at AM, only need 1 set and they plug into your rear o2 sensors on your mid-pipe.

They are notorious for short lives. Have heard from as little as 2 days to 2 years. Almost better to spend the money for a hand held and just turn off the rear O2's.

He has a tuner so just turn off the o2's with your tuner.
