Factory alarm keeps going off on ots own..1998 Mustang gt

98 GT vert. Just bought it car in excellent condition..only problem is when you lock the doors with the remote about an hour later the alarm is goin off for no reason.Anybody else have this problem?


2012 GT Premium, 6spd, 3.73 rear, Steeda shift bracket, GT500 ABs, tint, matte black OTT stripe, Boss shift knob and boot, MMD taillight trim, Infinity speaker upgrade
Previous Mustangs: 91 Lx 5.0 404 rwhp, 93 notch, 98 GTvert slow as hell,99 Gt, 2000 GT, 2001 GT, all manuals and all will be missed, mainly the 91 she was sweet.

dont lock it with remote. get it to a shop you might have a ground'd wire, could lead to something worse. maybe a fire


cams, and all basic bolt ons, arizen seats, cowl hood, and now my buckets got a hole in it (meaning im broke) but when i fix it ill have gears and some trany work

I removed the fuse #16 for anti-theft system (pats). And now the alarm has stopped coming on. The keyless entry still works. Maybe it will be safe till I can figure out the problem.
