2002 Mustang swap Mach 1000 head unit for Mach 460 will there be any difference?

My Mach 1000's head unit's CD changer has just went out on me and I have been looking for a new Mach 1000 head unit but the only thing that I found was from a Ford dealership buying a new one for $400. I have a friend that has a Mach 460 and he would sale me his head unit for $20. Would I notice ANY difference in sound quality or would it be the same? Also, would there be anything to keep in mind or it should go in easily?
