2004 Mustang GT has passenger window issues

This is my son in laws mustang who is stationed in texas in the Air Force and I live in Alaska and he needs help. His right window will not go down with either left or right switch. If he jumps 12 volts to the motor/regulator it rolls down fine and then either switch will roll it back up. Once up it it will not go back down unless he once again applies voltage to the motor . He has swapped left and right door switches with each other with no results. Any Ideas? Thanks so much!
