is there really any rwhp gains in doing this?lookin for cheap hp,arent we all

The gains aren't enough to make me even consider removing my air conditioning............Especially here in NC during the summer.

Seeing as how with the A/C turned off the clutch is disengaged and it free spins anyway, don't really see how it would give any hp. Only real advantaged would be to drop a few pounds and clean up the engine bay.

well said, yeah the only possible advantage would be the weightloss and it wouldn't be enough to recognize any increase, granted u keep it shut off. unless your doing a weight reduction overhaul I'd leave it
