2000 Mustang v6 to v8 swap - Have all parts

I have a 2000 Mustang, v6 w/ 5spd transmission. The car has 145,000 mi, and It has a gt posi rear end, and gt transmission. At least the guy who had it before me told me he put a gt transmission in it when he was replacing the clutch because reverse was getting sloppy.
I came to understand that the t5 and t45 (gt and v6 trannys) will both bolt up to the v6 and gt engine. My 2000 v6 has a gt rear end with posi and Im supposed to have a gt tranny. I just bought a 2000 gt engine with wire harness, motor mounts, throttle body, k member, the brain, valve covers, intake, everything. The engine has 71,000 and I got it all for 400 bucks. Cant I do a swap now or do I need more things? Please help, and thank you very much.

I would now get the 4.6l ECU because it will not function right without that, but I don't know if you have the computer already when you say "The brain."
