Header Opinion?

Ok I have posted a thread about pulling the motor out of my 99 Gt. I am debating on wheather to use the BBK shorty headers that I already have or do I sell them and buy a set of Long tubes? Lets see what you guys think!? Thanks!

I think BBK headers are garbage-worthy. Regardless of type. The finish on them looks cheap, they have crazy crimps in some of them because they're manufactured cheaply, and I've heard of numerous fitment problems with BBK headers. I've never used them, and I promise you that I never will.

I think long-tubes are a good idea if you want to add headers, but pick another brand.

I would agree with sillyrabbit, and add:

The only reason to add shorty headers is if emissions prevents you from switching to longtubes, and you have to swap out an exhaust manifold because of a problem. To be honest, shorty headers do absolutely nothing for the 4.6 2V engine unless you're supercharged, and then the gains over the exhaust manifolds are small.

One piece of advice: Since you already posted a thread about swapping your engine, why not just have asked this question in there, since it dealt with the same outcome? The header vs. header vs. should I has been covered so many times in here, I'm actually surprised that rabbit answered your question.
