2004 Mustang GT, going to run a Vortech S/C

I am going to supercharge my mustang with a vortech v-2 running 9 lbs of boost...what else do i need to change in order to run this setup safely? i don't want to blow anything and i am willing to spend whatever money necessary to run this safely. any suggestions?

Intercool it- what injectors are you using? You will need a boost gauge, wideband O2, a good tune, 255lph fuel pump, and a step colder COPPER spark plug set. What are you planning so far?

I agree with the above list and don't worry about the pistons and rods as long as you run a safe tune and don't go over the 9# of boost.

I ran 9-10# of boost in my 2000 GT intercooled for 50,000+ miles (starting at 74,xxx miles) and the guy I sold my car to is still enjoying it and it now has ~134,xxx miles and runs perfectly.

The valve covers and oil pan have never been off the engine and it is all factory except for the blower.
