Misfiring and rough idle/ and while driving

Well about 2 weeks ago I was at a light with an SUV next to me. The light went green and i gave about half throttle to get around the SUV and while doing this the car started misfiring (like a coil had stopped working). Now I recognised the misfiring as this has happened before. So I i purchased a new Coil pack and went home. By the time I got home (drove about 3 miles like this) the car had used 1/4 tank of gas.

I replaced each coil one at a time to find the bad pack( because the car hadn't thrown a code yet). No luck. this did not fix anything, so I thought maybe i fouled a spark plug. so I returned the Coil pack and bought 8 boush platinum spark plugs gaped at .055 and slapped those in. No luck. But upon removing them, I noticed 2 plugs were soaked in fuel (after i changed them only one was from that point on. the one closest to the steering wheel on the drivers side).

So I posted up on my mustang club site to see if anyone has any ideas. One thought that one of my fuel injectors was stuck on, due to the high fuel usage, and recommened I replace that one. So i figured it was the one with the soaked plug. So I replaced that injector. No luck.

So I did some more research and some had problems with a dirty fuel filter. Last time mine was changed was about 3 years ago. So i changed the fuel filter today and.... no luck (filter was very dirty though). I also read that some one was having a problem with their alternator. Was only putting out about 13v instead of 14.0 -14.4 (with the A/C on) causing the spark plug to not make enough spark. I checked the voltage on mine a little while ago and its putting out 13.6v (with the A/C on). Could this be my problem? I still haven't thrown any codes either. I'm beating my head against a wall here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
